My name is Jonathan Müller, I’m a German CS student at the RWTH Aachen University.
In my spare time I work on various C++ projects. I really enjoy writing libraries, especially for real-time applications where performance matters. Some of the libraries I’m written are memory that provides memory allocators, or type_safe that provides various type safety utilities to prevent possible errors. But I also work on tools related to library development, like the documentation generator standardese. See the projects tab for a list of all projects I’ve done.
My other public work/appearances include:
- interview at CppCast
- CppChat guest:

I often have to do design decisions or solve certain problems which might be interesting for other people to share. This blog will be used to share those thoughts if they can’t be expressed in a single tweet.
I don’t claim to be an expert in C++ or programming in general, so don’t blindly accept anything I write. I am open for feedback or criticism of any kind, so please don’t hesitate to comment.
My preferred user name for social media or any other website is foonathan. The best way to get in touch with me is Twitter, but you can also mail me or comment on my Github projects directly.

I’m no web developer or anything like that, so many thanks to my friend @jeyemwey for creating this awesome design.
